The Bishop Blanchet Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Team have played 4 games in the last 2 weeks losing all but 1 they had scheduled since the beginning of the month.
They lost against Lakeside High School at Mickey Naish Field on October 1st with a score of 3-0, then beat Eastside Catholic at home 1-0. The team lost against Holy Names Academy at home on October 8th by a score of 6-2, and lost against Prep on Lower Woodland Field by a score of 4-2.

The last couple of games hasn’t been the best stretch of soccer for the girls not winning a game this month. They have been out scored by opponents by 9 goals, and the games have been more on the blowout side.

The team feels like a bounce-back is coming, including a team member who’s been on the team for 2 years.

“The soccer season I feel has been much better than last year” said Sophomore Defender Charlotte Donsky. “With our amazing new coaching staff to a new soccer team, this season has been full of inspiration, fun and hard work! Can’t wait to see how the rest of the season goes.”

While the girls have a losing record right now sitting at 3-5-1, they have a chance to turn around their season with the last 4 of their games against Bainbridge, Lakeside, A rematch against Eastside on October 22nd and another rematch Against Holy Names Academy.

The girls close the season on the road with the first of their road games on October 15th at Bainbridge High School.
