Freshmen Boys Making all of their Shots
JVC boys basketball
January 17, 2020
The Bishop Blanchet JVC boys have an amazing record of 9-0.
This strong bonded team consists of boys who have a variety of talents and skills. This team is made up of players who are able to shoot threes, players who have consistent ball handling, and players who play aggressive defense. These diverse skills help to make a well-rounded team that is able to play at a high level.
One player who is able to do all three skills is freshman Tony Alan. He is aggressive in every aspect of the game, and he is able to play any position. “He is a team leader and you can tell by the way he plays” said senior Pilar Rutkowski, “he is consistently cheering his teammates on and plays very smart”
Alan is only one of the ten players who plays with intensity and full effort. The JVC boys would not have been able to have this strong of a season record if it were not for each and every player. All the guys play very well together, and this will help the Braves basketball program in the future as well.
This strong team is a special team and has a strong bond on and off the court. Come out and support the JVC Braves in their next game on January eleventh against Roosevelt at home.
