The girls varsity basketball began their season with a 66-38 win over Juanita High School.

Sophomore Jadyn Bush led all scorers with 16 points and 8 boards, while her classmate Taylor Chambers added 14 points and 4 boards.

Freshman Jillese Bush had 7 boards and Lily DiPietro added 9 points.

The young team seemed to be playing with the swagger it gained last season when the reached the stste championship game.

The Lady Braves have their home  opener on Friday, December 5th against Chief Sealth at 6:30 pm in the Wilkinson/Gilligan gym.

In an earlier game, the JV team beat Juanita 38-16,

Sam Conroy ended the night with 12 points, Katie Merrywell added 10 points, and Maddie O’Neill finished with 7.

Emily Caley and Maddie O’Neill were a perfect 2 for 2 from the free throw line.
