Spring is in the air and spring break is almost here! A lot of people are going to fun places for spring break. For many, it’s a time for beach vacations, road trips, or adventurous getaways to warm destinations. Others may choose to relax at home, catch up on sleep, and spend quality time with loved ones. Regardless of how it’s spent, everyone is excited about spring break and to take a break from school to unwind and recharge.
For spring break, a lot of seniors are going on the Cabo senior trip. Sofia Selland is one of the seniors who is going on the senior trip. “I’m very excited to hang out and stay in a hotel room with my best friends,” said Selland. Other students are finding relaxation closer to home. “I am going to Whidbey Island for spring break and I am going to be staying in a cabin,” said junior Kenji Slusser.
Not only are students going to fun places for spring break, but teachers are looking for ways to recharge as well. They are taking a break from teaching and recharging their battery. Mr. Finn will be caring for the earth and future during spring break. “I will be grading marine biology projects and planting my ‘urban farm’ of 350 dahlias,” said Finn. Sounds fun!
All in all, spring break offers a time for many to recharge, take a break from school, spend quality time with loved ones and enjoy the nice “springy” outdoors. However it is spent, spring break allows us to rejuvenate and come back to reality after break with a new perspective.
