The Braves Varsity Volleyball team fell to Eastside Catholic 3 games to 1.

The September 21st match, held at BBHS, was the first meeting of the two Metro teams.

Senior Middle Blocker Evan Larson had a career high 14 kills and 4 aces.

Juniors Outside Hitter Beatriz Cuevas and Middle Blocker Julia Leon contributed a combined 21 kills. Cuevas also added 8 digs and 3 aces and Leon added 2 blocks.

Senior Libero Amanda Derr tallied another 19 digs while classmate Julia Oishi added 20 assists and 10 digs and Sophie Sliger added 2 aces, 23 assists, and 6 digs.

The Braves travel to Holy Names for their next match on September 23.
