Volleyball Team Off to Kennewick For The State Tourney
November 12, 2015
The Braves volleyball team is taking the three hour trek to Kennewick, Washington to compete in the state tournament. Before they departed, the school gathered in the quad to send them off.
Although there may not be too many brave fans there physically, we will definitely be cheering them on in spirit. The Braves are led by senior captions, Julia Oishi and Evan Larson.
“It feels good to see our hard work paying off, as we go to state as seniors. Although Evan and I are officially captains, we are all leaders, and that is a big reason why we have had so much success”, said Oishi.
With the State tourney being so far way, the team knows they are pretty much on their own.
“We understand that not that many people will turn out because it is a long journey, but we know everyone at home will be cheering us on”, said Larson.
The ladies will play Mount Spokane in the first round on Friday at 8:00 A.M at the Kennewick Toyota Center.
If your parents write a note you can be excused to go root them on.
