A Healthy Place For All Eaters
February 26, 2016
Being vegan or vegetarian means you’re on a very strict diet and it can be hard to find good restaurants or food that doesn’t taste like cardboard.
That’s why when I went to Bamboo Garden I was pleasantly surprised that the food wasn’t horrible, especially for people like me who aren’t vegan.
The restaurant is located in the heart of Seattle and has “meatless versions of all your favorite Chinese foods”. They are open daily from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Bamboo Garden isn’t considered vegan because they use eggs in their fortune cookies, but that is the only use of eggs on their menu.
There are multiple dishes and combos that you can order and share with others.
I ordered the the lunch combo B with corn chowder soup, a taro root patty, white rice, chicken chow mein, and almond chicken and broccoli.
The food is also all kosher, so their menu is adaptable to different groups. They also have heart friendly meals that are even lower saturated fats.
Though the restaurant is small in size, their food is what makes you want to keep coming back.
