Take me out to the ball game…
March 24, 2016
Feeling like some peanuts and cracker jacks? Then come out to the boys JV Baseball games.
The team has an overall passion for the game, and watching them you’ll see that.
“I think this season will be full of improvements but also a lot of fun playing the game we love,” said junior Grady Dittmeier.
The team’s atmosphere seems to be all about improving, and at the JV level their main goals are to get a spot on the varsity team next season.
“I think our overall goal as a team is to just improve and work on all different aspects of our game,” said Dittmaier, “I’m excited to learn as much as I can this season.”
The JV Baseball team has won their first game so far, against Kamiak, but their win might not reflect their quality of play.
“I think we played okay, started off a bit rough on offense in the first couple innings and struggled a little bit throughout the game to stay consistent,” said Dittmaier, “but we were able to pick it up towards the end.”
The game of baseball is a fun yet relaxing way to spend your afternoons, so pack those peanuts and crackerjacks and come out and support your 2016 JV Boys Baseball team. They have a long and fun filled season ahead of them and you can witness it all!
Their next game is today (March 18), after school against our school rival, Seattle Prep.
