The Boys 2016 Field and Track season has officially started! The team consists of many different events and players can participate in multiple events.

Each of the 8 event areas has its own coach, and its own team captains, a boy and a girl.

Going into their first meet, the athletes, like Jalani Johnson, are excited to compete.

“I am excited for the first meet,” said Johnson. “Bellevue won state last year, it’s exciting to see what they’re competing like, and to get to know our competition before the season begins.”

The season’s first meet is this Friday March 18th at the Interlake Invite against both Interlake High School and Bellevue, least year’s state champions.
