Skinner appointed as Interim Principal
With administrative team in place, attention swings to new school year, the Accreditation process, and permanent replacements.
July 8, 2016
The search for an Interim Principal has ended as President Tony DeSapio names Pauline (Polly) Skinner to fill the role for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Skinner, with nearly 40 years of service to Catholic Schools in the Seattle area as both a teacher and an administrator, brings an essential element to her position. She has served on numerous school accreditation and self-study teams, a process Bishop Blanchet enters into this school year.
Skinner’s credentials are impressive. With a master’s degree in Administrative Leadership from Seattle University, she has served as the Principal of St. Benedict School, Director of the Middle School at Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, Head of School at Villa Academy, and Principal of Eastside Catholic Middle and High School.
Skinner begins her tenure on August 1, 2016. The search for a permanent replacement for both the Principal and Assistant Principal of Academics has already begun.
