The Boys’ Golf Team lost their match 125 to 120 on Thursday October 5th against Roosevelt at Jackson Golf Course.

“Every setback has a major come back”, said Captain Jack Brush.

The team will be practicing extra hard these upcoming days so they can beat their rival team Nathan Hale next week.

The only girl on the team Siena Jarrett, scored 51 points against the girls Roosevelt team but was defeated.

“Being the only girl representing the Blanchet girls golf team was originally nerve racking,” said Jarrett, “but the girls on the other team are nice to me and practicing with the boys is always a funny experience.” said Jarrett.

She hopes that more girls try out next year, and that the Blanchet golf continues to be a coed sport.

The team wants to thank their three fans that came out to support: Jake Cowden, Julia Weinand and Mr. Brewster.

The Blanchet Golf team will be playing Nathan Hale next Tuesday at 3:30 PM.
