JVC Volleyball Wraps It Up
December 14, 2017
The JVC Volleyball team is a team that has dedicated their season to hard work and improvement.
The team has concluded their season with a record of 10-4, and a most recent win was against Eastside Catholic.
The girls have come a long way from the beginning of the season. They started off strong but were focused on improving as the season moves along. They have concluded their season in a strong and evolved manner.
“Their skills have not only improved from the beginning of the season to the end”, says Coach Reese-White, “but their attitude about how to play the game has also improved.”
The team tries to gain experience through each game by working towards getting better mentally and physically.
“We have all gotten so close and have really grown together,” says Elise Delen. “Practice is obviously a time for us to work on our skills but when we are all working together, we grow as a team.”
Each player contributes to every practice and game in some way, and combining their efforts to be the best they can is what has motivated them to grown into a family.
Most of the girls are hoping to further their high school volleyball career by trying out for the team next year. They are grateful for the foundation they have made with each other and how it can benefit them moving forward.
