Alexa Stannard, a junior, joins the Miter this year as a staff writer. She gets her local news from sources like KING 5 and national news from ABC news. 

At Blanchet she has participated in track and field and basketball. She enjoys Blanchet sporting events, assemblies during homecoming, and tradition week. This year she hopes to get involved with Blanchet clubs. Outside of school she loves spending time with friends and family and she loves the outdoors. 

This year in journalism, Alexa hopes to grasp the community and spirit within Blanchet. She hopes to capture great moments and memories through both the Miter and Pallium. Alexa is looking forward to an amazing yearbook and newspaper with memories from a great year.
