Senior Elizabeth Colston is excited to contribute towards the Miter this year as a staff writer. She gets her information regarding local happenings from The Seattle Times, King 5, and KIRO 7, and turns to CNN and ABC for national news.

Elizabeth loves being involved with the wonderful community at Blanchet, and is a part of Bee Club, and is the head of hair and makeup for the drama department. Her favorite nights at Blanchet are spent cheering from the stands at a football game and going to the seasonal dances with her friends. Outside of school, she stays busy working as a Barista, hanging out with friends and family, and volunteering. This coming year, she hopes to become more involved with student life,  join some more clubs, go on Kairos, and make the most of the time she has left here at Blanchet.

Elizabeth’s aspirations for this year in Journalism are to contribute towards making an awesome yearbook, improve her writing skills, and capture the amazing spirit of Blanchet in her writing!
