Gia Gustav, a senior, joins the Miter this year as a staff writer. She gets her local news from King 5, Apple News, and ESPN. 

At Blanchet, she swims for the swim team and this year she is team manager. She’s a part of Global Health Club, Plastic with a Purpose and Hiking Club!

Outside of school, she loves being outdoors, spending time with friends, swimming, and creating in the kitchen.

This year in journalism, Gia hopes to capture Blanchet’s enthusiastic and passionate school spirit through her writing in the Yearbook and Miter. She is excited to create something new and special for all Blanchet students!
