Jacob Ivanis, a senior, joins the Miter as a staff writer this year. He gets his local news from the Seattle Times and enjoys reading The Athletic and ESPN for national sports news. He is looking forward to reporting on all that’s happening at Bishop Blanchet.

At Blanchet, he plays tennis and enjoys attending Blanchet sporting events. He loves watching and playing all kinds of sports and being outside. He hopes to learn more about different people around the school while writing for the Miter and working on the Pallium.
