Mary Stampfli joins the Miter this year as a senior and new staff writer. She usually gets her news from the Washington Post and other local news sources, along with family and friends. 

At Blanchet, Mary can be found reading, doing homework and hanging out in the student lounge before school every day. Having joined art club as a freshman, she enjoys learning new artistic techniques and participating in the club's art based service projects. Outside of the classroom, her favorite hobbies are reading, crocheting and playing with her two dogs, S’mores and Boomer. 

This year in journalism, she hopes to improve her writing skills and connect more with her classmates during her last year at Blanchet. She is excited to see what the rest of this school year will bring and to make this yearbook a great one!
