Olivia Olsen, a senior, joins the Miter family as a first-year staff writer who looks forward to reporting on Blanchet’s social events. She gets her news from social media and occasionally ABC News. 

She loves attending all school events and loves adding to Blanchet’s amazing school spirit. Her favorite events to go to are football games, basketball games, and dances. Outside of school, Olivia loves to hang out with friends, go to the gym, and eat food. Her friends describe her as a funny, loving friend that they couldn’t live without. 

Her goals for this year in journalism are to highlight new and exciting changes and trends at Blanchet, and bring light to Blanchet’s athletes and their journies in the sports they play. Olivia hopes to uplift the readers of the Miter, bring them joy, and encourage them to do what they love.
