Sofia Cahn, a junior, joins the Miter this year as a staff writer . She gets her local news from sources such as KING 5 and KIRO 7, and national news from NBC News.

At Blanchet, she does cross country with her team and coaches, she is also a school ambassador, and enjoys doing things outside and hanging out with friends and family. She also really enjoys traveling and seeing new places. Sofia loves Blanchet’s school spirit and dressing up for spirit days. She hopes to get involved in many more clubs and activities this upcoming year. Outside of school, she enjoys running, shopping, hiking, and hanging out with friends and family. 

This year in journalism, Sofia hopes to capture a new point of view of Blanchet through her work in the Miter and Pallium. She looks forward to this year and is excited to take on the new challenge of creating an awesome yearbook filled with a lot of school spirit and good memories!
